GiroFvg 2022: L’imponente macchina organizzativa – The impressive Organizing Machine

Quattro tappe, interessate le province di Udine, Trieste, Gorizia e Pordenone, un totale 489,1 km percorsi lungo le strade del Friuli Venezia Giulia. Al via le migliori squadre e i migliori atleti a livello internazionale della categoria Elite e Under 23. Questo è il 58° Giro Ciclistico Internazionale della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia, in programma da giovedì 1 a domenica 4 settembre 2022.

L’evento, per il quinto anno consecutivo, è organizzato dall’Asd Libertas Ceresetto del presidente Andrea Cecchini, con il coordinamento di Christian Murro ed il responsabile percorsi e sicurezza Danilo Moretuzzo che insieme muovono una macchina organizzativa davvero imponente.

Sono circa 400 le persone che si muovono all’interno dell’organizzazione del Giro della Regione FVG. “Ci sono circa 150 persone della nostra organizzazione – spiega Christian Murro –, più altri circa 200 addetti della Protezione Civile distribuiti lungo le strade i paesi che attraversiamo. Ci sono i volontari della Libertas Ceresetto e di tutte le altre società della zona che ci danno una preziosa mano. È una macchina organizzativa imponente, ma ci piace fare le cose fatte bene e garantire la massima sicurezza alla corsa e ai corridori”.

A proposito di sicurezza saranno tre le ambulanze (Unità Mobile di Rianimazione) col servizio di Ambulance Service al seguito della corsa, due i medici in gara.

Ci sarà, come sempre, la scorta garantita dalla Polizia Stradale con 8 agenti in moto e due volanti. A queste si aggiungeranno circa 25 moto di scorta tecnica con i gruppi Pitstop e Motostaffetta Friulana.

Four stages, involving the provinces of Udine, Trieste, Gorizia and Pordenone, a total of 489.1 km traveled along the roads of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The best teams and the best international athletes of the Elite and Under 23 category are at the start. This is the 58th International Cycling Tour of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, scheduled from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th September 2022.

The event, for the fifth consecutive year, is organized by the Asd Libertas Ceresetto of president Andrea Cecchini, with the coordination of Christian Murro and the route and safety manager Danilo Moretuzzo who, together, move a truly impressive organizational machine.

There are about 400 people who move within the organization of the Giro della Regione FVG. “There are about 150 people in our organization – explains Christian Murro -, plus another 200 employees of the Civil Protection, distributed along the roads of the towns we pass through. There are volunteers from Libertas Ceresetto and all the other companies in the area, who give us a precious help. It is an impressive organizational machine, but we like to do things well and guarantee maximum safety for the race and for the riders ”.

Speaking of safety, there will be three ambulances (Mobile Reanimation Unit) with the Ambulance Service following the race, two doctors in the race.

As always, there will be an escort guaranteed by the Traffic Police with 8 officers on motorbikes and two steering wheels. To these will be added about 25 technical escort bikes with the Pitstop and Motostaffetta Friulana groups.
